Welcome to the King’s Arms. Sandhutton is a pretty village with a charming green and an interesting church located in the Hambleton district of North Yorkshire. Our pub has been the village’s social hub since the early 1800s, and offers a choice range of locally sourced food and drink to all who seek a taste of traditional Yorkshire hospitality. We offer excellent accommodation and are conveniently located close to Thirsk Racecourse.

Our Menus
Our emphasis is on simple but well cooked meals, which show the quality of our locally sourced products including meat or fish you choose yourself from our display cabinet.
Once you have chosen your cut of meat or fish, our chef will recommend a sauce and garnish to go with each dish, if you have your own ideas please ask and they will do their best to accommodate you.
During the winter month’s pheasant, venison and duck is supplied from surrounding estates.
Our Rooms
A haven of peace and tranquility, an escape from busy days… Sleep soundly in our bedrooms which are beautifully furnished by Treske.
All our bedrooms are en-suite and vary in shape and size, all have flat screen TVs, DVD players, and are decorated, furnished and appointed for your comfort and enjoyment.
And after an excellent night’s sleep, you can enjoy our full English breakfast made from locally sourced ingredients, to set you up for the day ahead.
Beautiful location. Friendly greetings on arrival. Rooms were immaculately clean. Good hot, hearty breakfast. What stood out was the courtesy call before we even arrived to see if we required an evening meal. Don’t miss out on this gem of a hotel.
